Eligibility of applicants
The general eligibility of applicants is specified in the WWTF Funding Guideline.
- Applicants can be based in Vienna, Austria and can also be based outside of Austria
- Applicants can only submit one proposal in this call.
- Applicants should be early career researchers starting at PhD level
- Exceptions can be made for outstanding young researchers already showing academic success at an earlier stage
of education
- Exceptions can be made for outstanding young researchers already showing academic success at an earlier stage
- Applicants should not be past their eigth year after receiving their PhD
- Exceptions can be made and career breaks

- Applicants must submit a LOI from the host institution
- Applicants must submit a signature from a research insitution located in Vienna (either Host or Home Instiution)
- WWTF especially encourages young and female scientists to apply in this call
- Every applicant must submit a CV, which will form part of the evaluation
