Eligibility of applicants

The general eligibility of applicants is specified in the WWTF Funding Guideline. 

  • Applicants can be based in Vienna, Austria orand abroadcan also be based outside of Austria
Applicants can only submit one proposal in this call. Applicants should be early career researchers starting at PhD level
    Exceptions can be made for outstanding young researchers already showing academic success at an earlier stage of education Applicants should not be past their eigth year after receiving their PhD 
      Exceptions can be made and career breaks can be accounted for Applicants must submit a LOI from the host institution Applicants must submit a signature from a research insitution located in Vienna WWTF especially encourages young and female scientists to apply in this call.call Every applicant must submit a CV, which will form part of the evaluation. A applicant can only submit one proposal in this call.evaluation

      Research partners outside Vienna: Project partners outside of Vienna may receive up to 30% of the total requested funding.
